We’ve been eyeing this for sometime and as our forays into state sanctioned gambling have come to naught, we thought it best to list it up for those who have not yet had the chance to drool. A proposition so uber-cool Melbourne as to almost be cliche – a north side, Yarra hugging, deep dark and hidden beauty with apex pedigree; c.1967 masterclass in straight forward simplicity from Neil Clerehan with luscious native landscaping led by Gordon Ford (when it rains it pours!). Seemingly subject to a contemporary but respectful upgrade it nonetheless gladdens our little heart to see original cork floors, white Laminex kitchen and exposed brick harmoniously forge on within a home of such stature. Straight up wunderbar.
