As we all retreat into physical and psychological islands of our own making with the closure of every border and doorway, let us look upon two offerings from the ultimate pandemic escape (though sadly they too have copped it this time) in Tasmania.
First – one from the north, a saucy opening line ‘first time since ’69’ introducing winner of above-average Mid-Century design with all original timber paneling and joinery, floor to ceiling north-facing windows and lolly pink Laminex kitchen, plus huge rambling patch out back for all your self-sufficiency planting and chook keeping needs. At the very affordable $330k mark (and no doubt in this new normal it could end up going for less) this is nothing if not pure potential for the move you’ve been planning and may continue to plan, for now, in your head.
