A year of big changes kicks off today with a couple of the coolest MCM kids we know selling their pad of dreams in the Melbourne Modernist heartland of Beaumaris. Saved from the wreckers several years ago, the present owners with consummate skill, impeccable taste and appreciation for the era have revived this Neil Clerehan led Small Homes Service plan (The T379) by Richards & Blayne Architects c. 1958 into a bona fide MCM landmark. Celebrating the post-war, egalitarian promise of this design and aided by some top-notch landscaping there really is nothing more to do here* but move on in and take in the simple joys of living. Oh yes!
*Though we also think a kidney-shaped pool would do nicely in the backyard too!
