If there is one thing we can take away from this ker-azy week in the world is that for various reasons (nefarious or completely justified) many of us would like to rewind time. So lets do it, with this flawless statement of 1960s suburbia in Beaumaris (by local luminary Max Sachs), a locale where you can’t walk straight without bumping into yet another MCM treasure. This one has us completely enraptured, indeed could want for anything more? Pitch perfect orientation to catch the seasonal sun, all original crafted cabinetry, stunning floor to ceiling windows (serve us bacon and grapefruit in that sun-soaked dining room now!), parquetry, brickwork straight as the day it was laid, spot-on simplicity of floor plan and of course the L-shaped courtyard around a kidney shaped pool. Yep, sign us up! Pull up  butterfly chair and fruity cocktail, crank up the stereo and let us sail away, not a care to be had in this fantasy world of our own creation.
